Master's Degree
If your career has stalled or you want to develop your learning beyond
the scope of a Bachelor's Degree, perhaps its time to consider doing a
Master's Degree. A Master's will give your career a fresh lease of life
or even a whole new direction, and open up different areas of knowledge
and expertise to you. A Master's Degree usually takes a minimum of one
year to complete, but is more likely to require at least two years' study.
The duration will depend upon the course and whether you study full- or
part-time, online or on campus. Having a Master's Degree will significantly
increase your employment opportunities and earning potential. That is
especially true with a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) - MBA
graduates in 2002 drew an average starting salary of $75,000 compared
to a typical undergraduate starting salary of $41,000.
